These terms govern your access to and use of Velcaryn technologies, patient self check-in, Velcaryn Connect hospital software and Velcaryn Cloud.
1. Patient self check-in and registration
When using the Velcaryn Connect patient self check-in service via web browser or QR code, you acknowledge that the information submitted forms a preliminary registration draft. A check-in draft does not constitute an emergency admission or an immediate clinical consultation. You must present your token at the hospital reception desk for identity confirmation.
2. Emergency care notice
In an emergency, do not wait for a token
If you or the patient are experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency, such as severe chest pain, shortness of breath, acute trauma or loss of consciousness, do not wait for an electronic token. Proceed immediately to the hospital emergency department or casualty desk.
3. Accurate information and identity verification
You agree to provide accurate, complete and truthful personal details, including legal name, mobile number, age, gender and medical history. The hospital and healthcare practitioners rely upon these details for diagnostic safety, allergy cross-reactivity checking and prescribing medications.
4. Data protection and privacy compliance
Your personal health information and personally identifiable information are processed in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers standards. 5. Platform role and medical disclaimer
Velcaryn provides healthcare enterprise software and digital infrastructure. Velcaryn is not a licensed hospital or healthcare practitioner. All clinical advice, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions and surgical interventions are provided solely by the treating doctor and the respective healthcare facility.
6. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
